Our Story
Kilogrammedia was founded many years ago by the late Jane Garner, with a singular focus: to provide a comprehensive PR service tailored specifically to the unique needs of licensors, licensees, licensing agents, and production companies. Since launching in the early 2000s, we’ve proudly supported a diverse range of clients with our expertise in PR, writing, marketing, and social media management.
We work across a wide range of industries – from children’s entertainment, film, comedy, art and design, and publishing, to music, museums, galleries, charities, and beyond. We also work closely with content providers in both animation and live-action programming, delivering results that amplify their reach and impact.
Jane is the reason Kilogrammedia came into being – and the reason for its success. We are proud to carry on the company and continue building on her legacy, just as she would have wanted.

Robert Garner: Company Director
Robert manages the company’s investment, finance and legal affairs as well as making decisions on long-term strategy and company direction.
Sam Murray: Business Development Manager
With many years of experience in business development and a deep understanding of the public relations industry, Sam has consistently delivered exceptional results by identifying and capitalising on new market opportunities. She not only oversees the generation and distribution of client coverage but, as Kilogrammedia’s business development expert, liaises with new and potential clients and promotes the company and its services to a wide range of major players in the licensing, branding and broadcasting industries.
Sam plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expanding its client base.
Sian Dorrington: Client Account Manager
Sian has, for many years, worked closely with Kilogrammedia’s many clients and press contacts. She deals with multiple accounts, ensuring that every job is done on time and to specification. This means managing the numerous press releases, articles, listings and award entries being worked on at any given time, ensuring that they have been through the full approval process, and then distributing them to the press with appropriate imagery. She also advises clients on press and promotional opportunities, with special reference to deadlines and requirements.
Sian is respected throughout the industry for her efficiency and organisational skills.
Vaughan O’Grady: Writer & Editor
Vaughan is Kilogrammedia’s senior writer. With more than 30 years in business, trade and technical journalism and PR, he brings decades of experience and expertise to the work he does for a wide variety of brand owners, licensors, licensees and product developers. He works with specific clients quickly, getting to know them and their key projects and writing everything from press releases and placed features to award entries and speeches, turning copy around quickly and accurately for clients’ approval.
